Parsley tea is made from the leaves and roots of the parsley plant. It's caffeine-free and can be enjoyed hot or cold. 

Parsley root tea has many potential health benefits, including: Parsley is rich in antioxidants, including flavonoids, carotenoids, and vitamin C. These antioxidants may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and colon cancer.  Parsley contains anti-inflammatory compounds that may help reduce inflammation throughout the body.  Parsley is a good source of nutrients like calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which may help prevent kidney stones and is packed with vitamin K, which helps build stronger bones. Parsley may help boost immunity, boost detoxification, and it may help improve blood sugar control. Parsley tea may help regulate menstruation.  ( Not scientifically proven)

How to use:

The basic method for dried herbs and flower is, take 2-3 tablespoons of dried herb in a cup or teapot.  Pour hot water over it and cover it with lid for 10-30 minutes.  Hot water is needed to draw out the antioxidants, enzymes, vitamins, flavonoids, and volatile oils from the botanicals.  Strain and squeeze out as much as liquid as possible and enjoy!

You can sweeten your herbal tea with a bit of honey, natural fruit juice, stevia leaves powder and or licorice root powder.

You can make ice cubes or pops by freezing tea in ice trays or pop molds.
