General Information:

Osha root, also known as bear root or mountain lovage, is a plant native to the Rocky Mountains and parts of Mexico. It's part of the Apiacae family, which also includes carrots, celery, dill, and parsley
Osha root tea is a traditional herbal remedy used to treat a variety of ailments, including respiratory and digestive issues: You can brew osha root into a tea or mix the root extract with honey to make a cough syrup to help relieve coughs and congestion. Osha root can soothe sore throats and induce perspiration to boost the immune system. Chewing on the root directly can also create a numbing effect.  Osha root tea can help relieve gastrointestinal discomfort, it contains antibacterial and antiviral compounds that can help with bronchial infections.  ( Not scientifically proven)

How to use:

The basic method for dried herbs and flower is, take 2-3 tablespoons of dried herb in a cup or teapot.  Pour hot water over it and cover it with lid for 10-30 minutes.  Hot water is needed to draw out the antioxidants, enzymes, vitamins, flavonoids, and volatile oils from the botanicals.  Strain and squeeze out as much as liquid as possible and enjoy!

You can sweeten your herbal tea with a bit of honey, natural fruit juice, stevia leaves powder and or licorice root powder.

You can make ice cubes or pops by freezing tea in ice trays or pop molds.
